Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee Statement

PRINTING United Alliance’s mission is to develop and retain a diverse, inclusive workforce and workplace where all employees feel they are respected, treated fairly and given equal opportunity to excel in their careers.

Acknowledging the reach of the work we do, our aim is to incorporate these values in the way we conduct business and support the industries we serve. We plan to achieve this through thoughtful evaluation of all policies, processes, or obstacles in pursuit of these objectives, thereby continually fostering an ever-growing level of diversity and acceptance of the voices, experiences, and opinions shared both internally and externally as an organization.

To further our commitment to the PRINTING United Alliance mission, we have established a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Committee to ensure we reflect these important areas within our internal and external initiatives. We currently function as three main Committees:

  • Core Values Subcommittee: Incorporates principles of DE&I into our Core Values and communications.
  • Recruitment Subcommittee: Identifies and implements change in key areas involved with the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Contributor Subcommittee: Develops a more diverse external contributor base.

Through these committees, we worked to improve our processes as an organization, restructured our Core Values to better reflect our mission, and changed the way in which we recruit and retain employees. To date, we have launched the Women in Print Alliance and related support platforms, conducted a company wide DE&I training program, partnered with U.S. Vets at the 2022 Expo to give back, engage with the multi-faceted U.N.I.T.E Together organization, and have many more initiatives planned for the future.

As the foremost association and resource for information and education in the printing industry, the Alliance continuously strives to attract and employ the very best talent. We invite you to explore our open positions page, reach out to Jeanne Scully, VP of Human Resources, for any questions regarding employment: jscully@napco.com.

Sincerely,
